This app is a forward-thinking wellbeing monitoring platform specifically designed to support sustainable work-life balance in the evolving workplace of 2050. Developed in direct response to increasing pressures from hybrid work models, digital overload, and the need for holistic employee wellness, the app aims to proactively address risks of burnout, stress, and declining mental health.
Built in close partnership with WorkSafe as part of a RMIT Studio, the project aligns with national workplace health and safety standards while pioneering new approaches to digital wellbeing. The app integrates real-time monitoring of physical, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing through user-friendly self-assessments, biometric data tracking, and behavioural analytics. Its intelligent dashboard provides personalised insights, actionable recommendations, and wellness nudges to empower employees to manage their own health proactively.
The development process combined human-centred design methodologies, extensive stakeholder engagement, and cutting-edge technology research to ensure the app is intuitive, accessible, and effective. Iterative prototyping and pilot testing with diverse workforce groups helped refine features such as stress detection, break reminders, mood journaling, and secure data privacy controls.
By embedding wellbeing into everyday work routines and fostering transparent communication between employees and employers, the app supports healthier workplace cultures and contributes to long-term productivity and satisfaction. Positioned as a critical tool for the future of work, this platform exemplifies how thoughtful design and strategic partnerships can drive meaningful impact in employee health and organisational resilience.
